My Love Pug

Today I finish my "I love you" series with Herbie. In case you haven't noticed Herbie is a Pug. And believe me he lives up to his name. Pugs are an awesome breed. According to the American Kennel Club (www.akc.org) a Pug is "an even-tempered breed, exhibiting stability, playfulness, great charm, dignity, and an outgoing, loving disposition." That's my Herbie and that's what I love about him. He's so friendly, he loves people, especially children, he loves other dogs, cats, he's so friendly and happy.

I also love his little face, who couldn't? It's so sweet, so funny, and so cute. His tail, oh that's just an extra special part of the package. I love the way it curls ever so sweetly and when he's happy to see me it just wags and well I'm not sure I can find the words to explain how I feel seeing that.


Herbie makes me laugh, he also challenges me to be a better person, more responsible and more happy. He's a sweety. His snorts are a pleasant sound that you can't help but smile at.

He follows me wherever I go, he lays next to me as I blog, work, or watch the TV, he loves to lay his head on my lap or sit in my lap. Herbie likes to sit close and I just love having his little furs brush against my arm or cheek. He gives hugs and kisses, he loves kisses.


AKC describes a Pug's eyes as: "...soft and solicitous in expression, very lustrous, and, when excited, full of fire." I see this each time I look at Herbie's eyes, he's passionate, he's loving, my Herbie.
